Disneyland in the fall is so much fun! The summer crowds are gone and the weather isn't quite so hot. We went tonight and they had out all their fun fall decorations! We did our usual evening stroll for a couple of hours so Makayla could ride a few of her favorite rides.
Here we are at the beginning of Main Street where they have this giant Mickey Mouse Ear Pumpkin. Fun stuff! Makayla was a bit tired since this was on our way out, so no big smiles from her here.
While Ry was in line for a churro on our way out, we saw Pluto. We don't see many characters since we always go in the evenings and they're not usually out. Makayla knew that he was a doggie and was pointing at him but when we got close she was scared. I got his autograph for her but she wouldn't take a picture alone with him.....maybe next time.
Happy Spring!

Meghan & Jason's Wedding Reception
Today was Meghan & Jason's wedding reception at Layla, Megan's mom's house. It was a nice event. They decided to get married in Vegas a few months ago but the parents wanted to throw them a reception for all their family and friends. It was nice to see all the softball gang again and especially all dressed up! These are people that Ryan has played softball with for the last 15 year! Yikes! Congratulations to Meghan & Jason! Thanks for thinking about us and inviting us!
Makayla all dressed up! She never wears a dress! Must be a very special occasion!

Tiny Tumblers
Here we are at Makayla's first Tiny Tumbling class at the city this year. She grew up and advanced from last year's Teeny Tumblers class. This class was much better since the kids were all really active which Makayla was already last year. She fit in perfectly! We actually missed the 1st session last week since she had a runny nose and didn't want the other kids to catch it. So this was our actual first week. We met Miss. Ingra the teacher, she's really nice. Today's lesson is squatting, which Makayla already does really well.
Here we are in our circle time singing butterfly songs and playing games together! This was the only picture Daddy could take since Makayla didn't sit still with Mommy for long at all. Once thing got going she wanted to run around. We're going to have to work on those listening skills and doing what the group is doing.
This fire truck looks familiar! This was from my class last year too!
Just checking things out!
Waiting patiently with her friends for the end of class hand stamp and sticker, but for Makayla today was a foot stamp because she didn't let the teacher stamp her hand. She also cut in line so innocently but we made her go to the back and wait her turn. It was so cute.

20-Months Old with Mr. Bear
Here's our big girl now! She's weighing in at 23.2 lbs and 31.5 inches tall!
Let me see what's new this month, not much, just the usual, probably some more words.
Fish, bird, bus, wow, water, watch (knows to watch something on TV and a watch on your wrist), boba and probably a bunch more that I'm forgetting. She's also has her two little fang teeth coming on top. Not sure if that's the appropriate name for them, but that's what I'm calling them. This will be her 13th & 14th tooth! She smiles reallly, really big when you tell her too and you can't see her eyes, it's so cute!

Fashion Island Playhouses
We decided to check out the Ducks event at Fashion Island today. It was a fundraiser that displayed a bunch of really nice playhouses that will be going up for auction soon. They were all amazing! We couldn't believe how nice they were and big! It was kind of a gloomy day but then cleared up and was nice to be outside walking around. Makayla spun one of wheels and won Daddy a Ducks hat and some stickers. Quite the lucky girl!
Makayla in front of the Ducks Playhouse! It was really nice and even had autographs from some of the players on the outside of the door. And the Stanley Cup outside!
Taking a walk around the Koi pond. Makayla just loves all the fish! Taking big steps all across the pond.
Taking a ride at the carousel, one of her most favorite things to do at the malls! Well South Coast and Fashion Island since those are the only two malls that we know of that has a carousel.
Makayla checking out the bird taking a bath at the Koi pond. One of her new favorite words and things is bird!
First time riding the choo choo train right out side of Bloomy's.

MY GYM
"My Gym" had an open house today. They're right down the street from us so Mommy decided to take me for a play day this morning. She had no idea what it was about but we figured it out fast. It was so much fun. There were lots of kids my size, smaller and older all exploring in this great gym for little ones! They had music, slides, swings, bubbles, story time and much, much more! We had such a great time! I hope Mommy signs me up there soon!
Getting comfortable and checking everything out!
Climbing up the big ladder like a really big girl! Super cautious Makayla though!
She shoots and she scores!

We went to another ball game down in SD. Of course the Giants vs. the Padres. Our yearly games with Uncle Binh our season ticket holder hook up! It was lots of fun....too bad the Giants lost to the Padres once again this year. It was a fun outing with the whole family!
Here's Makayla mowing on yummy garlic fries! Smelly!
The whole family with cousins and all!
Alex, Patty, Alexis, Makayla & Alyssa all enjoying the ball game. Alexis was caught on the big Jumbotron bouncing and dancing up and down! Good times!

Grandparents Day
We celebrated Grandparents today at our house. We ordered some traditional Vietnamese food that everyone really enjoyed. Ba Ngoai which wasn't suppose to do anything made these great Vietnamese crepes to go with it. She also took care of all the prepping of all the veggies that go with the Vietnamese food. Thanks Ba Ngoai for working so hard on supposedly your day. You're the best at making sure we're all fed well!
Here are all my grandparents eating all the yummy food!
I'm helping both sets of Grandparents to open their present from me.
I made the Grandparents each a set of acrylic scrapbooks. It had pictures of me and them through the last 19-months. These clear acrylic books are the newest and latest thing in srcapbooking so it was really nice treat for them. They all LOVED it! And I loved making it, well maybe Mommy helped a little bit....hehehe I really, really hope you all loved it too!

Where's Mommy in all this? She must've been the photographer today.

Disney for a few hours....
Well, it's been awhile since we've been able to get to Disneyland to use our passes, over a month! We've only been going in the evenings because it's so hot and crowded during the day. It's perfect for a few hours in the evening. We thought it'd be a light night since everyone should be back in school, but it sure seemed like the lines were all still the same. Makayla got to ride on her usual favorite rides, the carousel & Dumbo and a few new ones......
Here I am with Daddy waiting for him to spin me in my very 1st pink tea cup ride. I loved it! I kept on telling Dad to spin it more. I think I got a little dizzy!
This was my 1st time on Mr. Toads car ride too. I had fun zipping around in the car to see Mr. Toads adventure.

Santa Ana Zoo
Daddy's been off all week since he had put some really long hours at work previously, so this is some comp time he got. Yesterday he took me to the park to feed the ducks but they were too aggressive and I was scared to come down since they were all over the place. So today, Grandma suggested the Santa Ana Zoo with Daddy. We went and picked up Grandpa and had a really great day at the Zoo. It was a small zoo but I still had lots of fun because I just love them animals. And, it's also my very 1st visit to a zoo.
Here I am with Grandma & Grandpa Arakaki.
There were lots of monkeys at this zoo and I really, really liked them. But this was the only photo they could get with me & a monkey and he's not real and I really didn't want to sit and take a picture with him.
Makayla & Daddy feeding the goats. She held the food in her hand but didn't let the goats eat it out of her hands. She just dropped the food on the floor for them.
The train ride around the zoo was lots of fun! Choo, choo! Thanks for taking me to the zoo Daddy, Grandma & Grandpa. I had lots of fun!

Alan & Som's Housewarming
Uncle Alan & Auntie Som had their housewarming party today. They moved into a really cute condo in Cypress. It's brand new and super roomy too for a 2 bedroom, 3 bath. We're all so happy for the two of them! And we're even happier because Uncle is finally close by and not all the way out in Chino. More visiting time!
Here's the outside of their home. Very nice & tall!
The cute couple with their housewarming cake! Yum, yum from Frenche's!
And, best of all here is all of Auntie Som's authentic Thai cuisine! Now, that was real yummy! She's quite a cook! Lucky Alan!
And here I am on their floor. CSI, are you going to mark with chalk around my body? I just love the carpet! We have mostly wood flooring at our house so I usually have to be extra careful so I don't bonk my head, but at Uncle and Aunties I can roll and fall on the carpet and it's soft & cushiony.

Potty Training News......
Really BIG new today! Mommy had me diaperless this past weekend and today I finally ran into my potty and went poo poo all by myself. I've gone once before but it was a lucky shot when Mommy caught me and took off my diaper about a little over a month ago. After I was all done I came out to get Daddy to show him what a big girl I am. Then Mommy came in and we all celebrated, yay'd & clapped! Mommy wiped my bum & Daddy helped me washed my hands. Then I got a Shamu tattoo and was a really happy girl! Then Mommy took me to the mall to get some big girl panties. We'll see what happens and if I do it again.........Only time will tell.

Lunch w/ Tiffany
We went and had lunch with some of Daddy's old high school friends today at CPK. I got to meet Gene from S.F., Yong & Jimmy. We also met up with Larry, Eva & my friend Tiffany which I already knew. Tiffany is 17-months old so just a couple of months younger, but she's taller than I am. We also found out that her parents are expecting a baby boy soon. They're 5-months pregnant right now. Congratulations! I had so much fun playing with Tiffany. Thanks for lunch Gene!
