Disneyland

Mommy & I took Daddy to Disneyland today so that he could get his annual pass. I know he did it just for me since he doesn't really care for Disneyland. Thanks Daddy! We're going to have so much fun here! Mommy got hers when we went to Mia's birthday party a few weeks ago. We were bored after church so we ran a few errands and then headed over to the happiest place. We started walking around and it was very busy, but what's new....they're always busy. We ended up riding 3 rides (carousel, pinnochio's adventure, dumbo) and hung around for a few hours and then I was tired. It was hot and I was tired of standing in lines. We then went to Whittier to have dinner with Ong & Ba Ngoai (Grandpa & Grandma Ly) I took a nap in the car and was happy to see them!

Here I am on the carousel, don't worry Mommy's sitting right behind me since this was big for me to even sit on the horse. I usually prefer the bench where it's safer. I'm really cautious.

I kept pointing to the flying Dumbo from the carousel so Mommy took me. I'm surprised I didn't get scared.....it went up high!

Let's go Duckies!

Tonight I got to go to another Anaheim Ducks hockey playoff game. This was round 2, home game 2 against the Vancouver Cannucks. Grandma & Granpa Arakaki, Uncle Alan & Auntie Som joined us too. It was such a fun family outting! I was all pepped up and loved all the cheering and especially the Togo's blimp that flies around during intermission. Mommy & Daddy have been taking me so much lately that when they start cheering "Let's go Ducks!" I start clapping my hands and cheering too. I think I picked it up pretty quickly. Too bad the Duckies lost in the 2nd OT! Boo Hoo! Score was 1 to 2. Not like Wednesday night when we won 5 to 1! It was a late night for me so good thing I got an hour nap in during the 1st period. Can't believe I was able to sleep through all that noise! And I guess my shots this morning didn't have any side effects at all!

Really, I'm super happy here, not crying even though I kind of look like it. I'm cheering and being super silly.

Our family photo really up close to the ice in all our Duckie Gear!

15-month check-up

I had my 15-month check up with Dr. H today. I'm weighing in at 19lbs. (10th%ile) Up by 1lb. from my 12-month visit. I'm 30" tall, up by 1" from my 12-month visit (50th%ile). My stats at the Dr.'s office is always off from my monthly log that Mommy & Daddy have of me. Just two shots (Dtap & Hep. B) this time compared to the usual extra painful 4-5 shots. Well, I wasn't happy at my visit today. I'm very well aware of what's going to happen to me before it even happens. I was really whiny and kept on pointing at the door for Mommy or Daddy to please get me out of there! Too bad I couldn't leave until the painful shots were done. I cried and then I was fine as usual. Went and had lunch at Mimi's Cafe with Mommy & Daddy and then it was nap time. I didn't get a fever or anything this time around. So the shots weren't so bad after all.

15-months with Mr. Bear

Here I am at 15-months with my Mr. Bear! I'm almost as tall as him now! I love to squeeze & hug him. I also tackle him all the time too since he's in my room. I remember when I met Mr. Bear from my Uncle Alan the day I came home from the hospital over 1-year ago. Time us sure flying by.........This is where my Mommy & Daddy measure and weigh me in. According to their scale, I'm 19.8lbs. And according to their ruler I'm 28.5". I'm still very petite, but super strong!

April Dragon Boat Competition

Today was a small Dragon Boat competition with all the local teams. I've only been out to a few practices with Daddy, Uncle Alan, Grandma & Grandpa when Mommy is scrapping so this was the 1st event that Mommy got to attend with me this year. It was lots of fun to be out with all the paddlers and cheering on our APCA Blue Dragon team! It was a nice day to be at the beach. I had fun looking for the birdies and watching all the teams and paddlers. There was also someone flying a kite which was very interesting to me. And lots of little doggies too!

For those of you that don't know what Dragon Boat is....here's a picture of our DB team paddling.

I have my sand toys ready Daddy....but where's the sand?

Just me cruising around our tent.....I think I'm looking for more food in my cooler!

Ariel's Grotto

I was invited to my friend Mia's 2nd birthday party today at California Adventure. We ate lunch at Ariel's Grotto where I met all the pretty, pretty princesses! I dressed up and was Mini Snow White along with birthday girl Mia & Rachee. We had so much fun together! Too bad Daddy couldn't join us since he was so busy at work and couldn't get away. My Mommy ended up getting an annual pass so there will be plenty more visits to Disneyland. I hope Daddy will get one too so we can go as a family soon. So far, I love the rides in the Bug's Life land!

The whole party gang with Princess Ariel.

Makayla meets her 1st Princess Bella.

Next.....I'm so happy to meet Princess Aurora.

I think I'm a little unsure about Cinderella or am I getting tired?

Finally, pretty, pretty Princess Snow White! May I please have your autograph? I'm your mini.

The 3 little Snow White's, that's me, Rachee & Birthday girl Mia from top to bottom. Happy Birthday Mia! Make a wish and blow out your candle! Thanks for inviting us to your great Princess party!

Elmo "The Body", Discovery Science Center

Today after church we went to breafast at Panera Bread in Costa Mesa with my friend Mia, her Mommy Tara, her Grandma & Auntie Elise. Afterwards we decided to go check out Elmo "The Body" at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. It was a special event that they had and since I've been watching more and more Elmo DVD's from my friend Rachee, Mommy & Daddy thought I'd enjoy now and sure enough I did! It was a very, very busy place with lots of stuff going on. I had lots of fun playing with everything! "The Body" displayed how our body works, from the heart to lungs etc. Most of the displays were for older kids but they had stuff for us little tots too!

Here we are entering the event.....do my arms look like Elmo's on the display? I'm copying everything lately.
Pointing at Elmo....I know him! This was in his bean bag TV room, one of my favorite places at the exhibit. Mommy had trouble getting me out of this room.

Here I am on the famous Sesame Street steps with my friend Mia. I loved the steps. I even sat on them alone just checking everything out when Mia wasn't around. I'm clapping and having a blast!

The giant piano or is it an organ? Whatever....it's much bigger than the one I have at home!

Teeny Tumblers

I'm at my very 1st class of tumbling with Miss Susan at Edison Rec. Center for about 6 weeks. I had to take off my shoes and off I went to all the toys and other kids. I started off playing with with the Fire Truck tent and puppy. Then I went through the tunnel, bounced on the trampoline and down the slide (my favorite)! I had so much fun dancing to all the tunes too while playing.

Through the tunnel I go after my new puppy friend........
Which toy do I play with.....there's so much to choose from!

My favorite, the slide! Up & down I go over and over again.

Clapping away while we're in our circle singing "If you're happy and you know it!"

Pool Class

I'm attending another session of "Parent and Me" swimming at our city gym in HB until mid May. I first tried it out last year when I was about 7-months old. I took to it pretty well so Mommy & Daddy signed me back up this year when it got warmer. We took the winter off since it was too burr for swimming! We sing nursery rhymes together and it's so much fun! I just love the water and meeting all my new swim buddies!

Here I am with Mommy in my little bikini.

On my mini, mini yellow surfboard with Daddy. It's gotta be the yellow board and no other color....it's my favorite!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, I'm suppose to jump but I don't.....too scared!

On Daddy's shoulders.....anyone wanna play chicken and wrestle?
