Book & Kidsfaire

There was a little book fair at Orange Coast College today so I decided to take Makayla since we had nothing else going on. Plus one of her favorite books, Fancy Nancy's illustrator, Robin Preiss Glasser was going to be there autographing. It was a beautiful day to walk around outside to see all the different children's books and authors. After the book fair we headed over to the fairgrounds right across the street for a Kidsfaire event. All so much fun!

Here is Makayla with Robin Preiss Glasser after autographing all her books for her girlfriend's Christmas gifts. She was being super shy her so this is all we got with the illustrator.

We're now at the Kidsfaire. Makayla started off by wanting to paint a flower pot for all her plants at home. She did a great job! Super colorful.

We watched some roller derby racing to take a little break and then walked over this this fun princess booth that had arts & crafts. Makayla made a wand and then took a pictures with this funny looking princess to me. But she liked her so I guess that's all that matters. That pretty much ended our day and we headed home. Tired girls!
