School Halloween Parade

Makayla's very 1st school Halloween parade is today. This was a big morning for Makayla, it's not her usual day to go to school but when they have a special event like this all students are invited to attend so both Ry & I took her. It was so cute to watch all the little kids dress up in their costumes. Fun morning!

We dropped her off in her class room where they all got ready in their little circle time. Miss. Crystal is leading the circle and that's Makayla in the pink hair as Dee Dee Doodlebop. She's a little hard to recognize with that diva pink wig on.

All the parents waited patiently outside for the kids to start coming out for their parade. There's Makayla and Miss. Cassie started off the parade for the Blue room. I couldn't believe she was the little leader already! My big girl!

A little video clip for you to see the actual parade. It's a bit funny since it was pretty much chaos, but what do you expect, they're between the ages of 2-4. Super cute to me and they all had lots of fun!

After the parade the kids went back into their class rooms for their party and Halloween craft. Looks like they're making a pumpkin face. Working with glue today. Makayla's pumpkin actually turned out okay and she had fun working with glue. We didn't stay long for the party since it was already a long morning and it seemed like she was ready to go home. She had a major meltdown when we got in the car all the way home. You don't realize that these little events, even if they're just for a few hours are quite overwhelming for our little ones. Too much excitement and probably tired too. Overall she had fun while it lasted.
