Matterhorn

Can you believe we're at Disneyland again?  Yes, two days in a row.  Ryan had to work today so I took Makayla by myself while my parents watched Mylee for me.  Again, it was another packed day at the happiest place on earth.  I guess everyone has had the same idea.  Once we got it we walked towards Toon Town since that area has Makayla's favorite roller coaster, Go Gadget Coaster.  But while walking we went by the big white mountain, the Matterhorn.  Someone told me that the height limit is ridiculously low so we checked it out online and sure enough it's only 35" and Makayla is right there!  She is very excited!

While in line we saw the height ruler.  She stood by it just to make sure and sure enough she is right there, just barely making it!  The lines was pretty short, only had to wait about 20 minutes.  Everyone kept on looking at me weird, like lady your kids pretty small and she is. Remember now, she's not even 3 yet.  Almost but such a big and brave girl!  Just like her Mommy!  That's my tough cookie!
Here we are on the big bobsled!  Hold on tight!   It's going to be dark in the mountain with the big abominable snowmen with red eyes!  No fear!  She had both her hands up in the air for a bit but it was a pretty rough ride and she was screaming!  Fun screams and squeals!  I'm so proud of my big girl and she said she'd do it again next time.  We'll see!  This was quite the big milestone for us!

For those of you that don't know what the Matterhorn Bobleds are, here's a picture of the very big white mountain!
She was such a good girl that I let her get her face painted there.  It's always a big treat for her to do this.  She just absolutely loves face painting and sits so nicely and patiently while they do it.
I'm glad we went today so that we could see the Disney Christmas Parade, we never really pay attention to the schedules, but we were headed out and saw everyone sitting so Makayla wanted to stay and watch and I'm so glad we did.  It was super cute!  Here's picture of how it ended with Santa on his sleigh.  Disney sure does put on a great show for everyone to enjoy!

We parked in a different lot today by Downtown Disney so this giant Christmas tree was on our way out while walking Downtown.  It got a little chilly so Makayla is pretty bundled up with her cozy jacket and scarf!  What a fun Mommy & Makayla day!  She also got to pick out her Princess dress for her birthday party too!  It's going to be a cute surprise as to who she wants to be for her big 3rd birthday party!
