It's Dora, Dora The Explorer party time! We're celebrating Katie's 4th birthday today. What a beautiful and perfect day out for a themed party. Her mommy did such a great job with the party and the adventure that all the girls had....wait and see how amazing and fun it was.
The first step was to go across the Dora hopscotch bridge. It was so funny, Makayla hopped on one foot all the way across.
Next they had to figure out the riddle from her daddy the grouch to open the door to the chocolate tree. It was hung with little Hershey kisses that were soft and mushy because it was a pretty warm day out for November. The girls even had a special visit from Swiper himself too so they had to say "Swiper no swipy" to their chocolates to shoo him away. (her brother was a trooper for being Swiper). Brotherly love!
The girls accomplished the adventure and it's now pinata time but let's try to get a group photo first.
Cute pinata. I've never seen a pull string pinata before but I like it. A little less dangerous than swinging a stick for these little one's. Such clever ideas out there. I'll definitely have to keep this one in mind.
After all that hard work, now it's time for homemade cupcakes! Tracy her mommy bakes some excellent cupcakes! These were orange filled flavored. So different but so good!
Makayla and Katie the birthday girl in the middle. What a great party! Happy Birthday Katie and thanks for the invite!
