Ajisen Ramen

We came across this ramen restaurant when Scrapbooking a few months ago in Irvine and it was so yummy!  I kept on raving about it and it happened to be right across from where Som works.  She eats there all the time.  Well we thought our family would really enjoy it, especially Auntie Helen visiting from Hawaii so we took her to try it out along with Mom & Dad Arakaki and Alan and Som too!

We walk in and this little girl statue with a giant bowl of noodle greets us!  Cute photo op!
Mylee is ready for some saimin alright!  She's eating more and more solids lately and is gonna love this meal!  She tries everything and is always opening wide and grunting for more!  Most of the time we can't feed her fast enough.
Makayla and Auntie Som are ready for the meal!  Auntie is a pro so she ordered a few beginnings for us to try.  Too many to mention but it was all real good!
The other side of the table.  Ryan, his parents and Auntie Helen from Hawaii on the far end there.  I think we took their biggest table in the restaurant.  It was packed after we go there  so it was perfect timing for us to get this table since they don't take reservations.  The saimin was so tasty and so were all the appetizers and side dishes.  Mylee and Makayla really enjoyed the friend rice that Auntie Som ordered.   Afterwards we wanted to go right across the way to the Guppy House to have their yummy Chinese style shave ice, but the line was out the door!  We'll have to try that on a day where it's not during Friday night rush dinner hour.  We were probably too full anyways.

Instead we just headed back home to our house and Mom had already had a cake at home for us.  We had no idea.  So time to brew up the coffee and have dessert.  Auntie Helen playing with Baby Mylee.  She's really enjoying her long visit here and so are my girls!  They love having her here and are going to miss her when she has to go back home.  She's been coming over everyday that Grandma does to help with the two girls and spend time with the.  Fun and relaxing night.
Great Auntie and the girls having so much fun together!
