Us in our matching shirts in our very cool booth! Carts, carts, carts! That's us! Not too exciting but exciting to us! You can't even imagine how busy our booth is for just carts! It's nuts until you go and experience it. Never would have thought at all. Our shirts are always super nice and we have different colors for each day. Too bad I never wear them again.
That's my boss controlling our very own customized remote control cart in the aisle this year. He's a big car guy so this was his project to build and have some fun with and boy did it get a lot of attention. He'd follow people down the aisles and the kids really got a kick out of it! Good thing I have a a fun boss! He's very cool! Well it ended up being a very successful show for us! We probably had double the activity than we thought! It was 4 long and hard days of work and 3 long nights without my family! Missed them so much! I was lucky enough to be able to head home early while the guys stayed and worked the rest of the show. Thanks for all being so understanding and great to me!
Here's some fun after the show. There were a few cocktail parties after the show that we hosted along with some other close company's in the industry and this was actually the CLA Mardi Gras dinner. As you can tell we had some fun with it! That's Eduardo from Hamilton Engineering! I look forward to seeing him each show I go too! He's a fun guy and works for a great company! The owners of his company are really good friends with us and always take good care of us. They include us in all the dinner plans and evening activities! They even woke up at the crack of dawn to bring us all beignets from Cafe Du Monde.
After the CLA (Coin Laundry Association) dinner we all headed down towards Bourbon Street for some crazy fun! Here I am with Christina from Hamilton Engineering, she's the daughter of the owners and we're quite close! In age and we're DG sista's too! We went to get a Hurricane drink at Pat O'Briens, which is what they're famous for, while the others stood in line at a real famous jazz club for us called Preservation Hall. Good times and some great music! Man was it hot out there! After that we just hung around, danced and drank. Really good times until 2am! Ugh, going to work the booth tomorrow is going to be rough!
