Look at our little precious Hawaiian hula girl! She's just adorable and looks so grown up in this picture to me! Not sure where we got this grass skirt but we had it laying around and she's been wearing it to her lessons each week also. She even has a real plumeria flower in her hair that smelled great! She picked it right off our plant. Great idea Grandma!
They had but little outfits for all the kids to change into. They were soooo cute! Here's Makayla sitting next to her friend Gracie. They go to preschool together also and her mom went to high school with Ryan. Again, small world! Makayla is ready to pass out her plumeria flowers to all her friends too. She's such a good sharer!
Here they all are! Getting ready to shake it! The venue was sooo crowded it wasn't even funny! Very poorly managed. They didn't expect this sort of turnout but what were they thinking with little kids looking this cute that every mom, dad, grandparents, uncles and aunties would be there! I thought I wasn't even going to be able to see her but good thing I squeezed in there to get a few shots and see her. She didn't do too much since I think it was pretty overwhelming for all the kids with that many people watching them and she didn't nap today so was kind of tired. It was still cute though! They did the hula to pearly shells and that's the Hawaiian in me.
It's after the show now and she did great! I'm so proud that she even got up there. In due time where she'll do it all. She did for her ballet recital but that class was much longer and much more structured. We're going to do another session of hula so hopefully we can make it to more classes for the next round of shows! She's lovin' the watermelon here! Mylee came to watch her also. She had a nice nap in the beginning and poor Ry had to hold her on his shoulder in the heat and crowd. She woke up just in time to see her sis perform.
Daddy and his hula princess! Watch out Daddy! She's just too cute so you better get ready when she gets older. Look at that irresistible smile!
