Vacation Bible School

My girlfriends and I decided to sign up our girls at FCC's vacation bible school.  I really didn't know much about it but I'm so glad we did it!  I felt that it was important enough for me to have Makayla skip a week of her summer school also for it.  FCC's kids campus is super nice! It was pretty well run and the kids learned a lot about Genesis.  They learned wonderful songs about Jesus and just to see and hear all of it from their point of view is so refreshing and wonderful!  Wish I had that opportunity as a child.  Too bad our church only started VBS at age 5 so Makayla was  a little too young for it.  Hopefully they change their age group next year if not then we'll be sending her there in just a few years.

Here she is entering her blue circle room.  On the first day most of her friends were all split up because it's done by age but they got to play together in the playground and during their music/concert time.  She was great and walked right on it.  I was happy to see her so excited about this new venture.
This is one of her teachers, Miss. Amanda.  She looked so familiar to us when we first met her and so did we to her.  We finally figured it out.  She use to take her kids to My Gym and was in Makayla's class. Small world!  Super nice lady!

Miss. Mak & her buddy Rachee.  Rachee was in the class right across from Makayla.  They played a lot together this week and had lots of fun.  Mia was also in her class, along with Luke a new friend we've met recently.  Her friend Gracie from preschool was also there but in a different classroom.  The city of HB seems so small since we keep on bumping into familiar faces all over town.  What a great week at our first experience at VBS!  Makayla loved it and learned so much!  She keeps talking about it and wants to go back but not until next year!
