Of course Mom and her scrap booking had to get an Ohana picture of us in front of the sign where we stayed, just in case we forgot or something. It was on our way out to head over to the Hilton next door since we heard they had dolphins for me to see and we're going to have breakfast over there too.
Here we are on the Hilton Waikoloa Resort property. Boy is it a nice resort! I thought ours was nice, but this one I think has got us beat! This was a neat picture inside the waterfall with Daddy. They had a tram ride for us to take to get us from one side of the property to the next. That's how big this place was!
Here's Makayla stickin' her little booty out to look for those dolphins! She was so happy to see them since she just loves her animals of all kinds.
It was so hard to get a shot of the dolphins since they swim so fast, but here's a peek at one and his/her fin. After viewing the dolphins we headed over to the hotel restaurant to have breakfast. Yum, yum! It was an indoor/outdoor restaurant so there were all kinds of birds flying around. Fun atmosphere and it kept Makayla occupied.
After breakfast we decided to head back over to Honu Beach since we had some time to kill before our inter-island flight over to Oahu. Too bad we didn't get to see any Honu's today, but we'll have some more shave ice for sure!
Back at the airport waiting for our flight to Honolulu, HI!
When we arrived and finally settled into our hotel on Waikiki it was pretty much dinner time. One of the local places to eat is good ole Zippy's! They're known for their Chili over rice! Daddy was so happy since he loves eating here! Once again, ono ya for Makayla's first visit to Zippy's!
After dinner we had to stop at Leonards bakery for their famous Malasadas! Another local place that's known for these Malasadas, which are a warm sugared donuts. Then it was market time to stock up on some snacks and milk for Makayla. Can you believe it cost $9.00 for a gallon a milk with the discounted membership to the market. Nuts! It was good to be on Oahu, especially for Grandma & Grandpa since these were their old stomping grounds. Amazing how Grandpa really remembered his way around and it's been so long since their last visit when Mommy & Daddy got married which was in 2002! Almost 6-years ago!
