Christmas Program

Tonight was Makayla's very 1st Christmas program through her preschool.  It was held at a local elementary school so that we could all invite other family members.  Well, when we arrived it was already an absolute zoo.  We couldn't believe how many people were there.  We were barely able to get into the room and people were just overflowing.  I guess the 1st annual Christmas program for the school was a hit!  Think they new a much bigger venue next year for sure!  Our whole family came to watch Makayla perform.  Her little sis Mylee, Grandparents from both sides and even Uncle Alan & Auntie Som.

Beautiful backdrop painted by one of the moms.
Here's our little Miss. Mak with her donkey ears on.  She's been practicing her song for a few weeks now.  I'm surprise I got her to the front of the stage with all the people.  I also managed to sneak a seat at the very front too.
She's on stage next to her friend Jordan.  She sang away and had awesome arm and hand movements too.  We're so proud of her that she wasn't shy up there.  She sang "Mary rode a Donkey" which is a song she'd been practicing.  They also sang another "Clop, clop, clop" song that we didn't know about.  I have a video clip but it's not very good since I was at a slight angle and the teacher leading them was standing in the way.  Oh well.  Hopefully someone in her class got a good shot of her for us.
Oh look!  A surprise visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus.  Boy, do they look familiar.  Same couple we saw a few days ago and the Arnold's Christmas party.
My star after her big performance!  She was so excited and was so cute!  Grinning from ear to ear.  I think she knew she did  a great job!  She's in the youngest class so they performed first and then the other two classes which were older went next.  Everyone did great!

More pictures after the show with her friend Jordan.  So cute all dressed up!  Also, it was a little high school reunion for Ryan since he bumped into a few friends that he went to school with that now attend Makayla's preschool.  Some in her class and some in a the older classes.  Small world.
