Our Christmas Tree

Boy oh boy is a start of busy, busy season!  After the library Grandpa was waiting at the house with Daddy & Mylee for us to go get our Christmas tree.  It's Grandpa's tradition to buy the girls their tree every year.  Makayla picked out  real nice one.  A little shorter then we normally get but that's okay since they've gotten pretty pricey each year.  It's always fun to go pick it out each year and we've been getting it at the lot that's right around the corner from our house.  We walked over there since it was a nice day and pushed Mylee in the stroller.

M&M's and their Grandparents by their tree.
The tree truck is getting trimmed and the bottom branches taken out so that our stand can go on it.  While they were doing this and getting it netted up and in the truck we went and got some fresh popcorn since they had a handy little machine there.
Daddy & Grandpa got the tree in the house and up by the time we got home from our walk.  As you can see Makayla is grinning and so happy and excited!
After their nap and more towards the evening the girls got into their Christmas PJ's to decorate their tree!  Even Mylee was supervising big sis in her little Bumbo chair.
Miss. Makayla putting up her ornaments that she made from the library.  It was so cute how into it she was this year!  Even funner that all the ornaments she made are at the bottom of the tree.  Christmas is just so special now for us!  Some fun family traditions we're creating.

It's finally done and so beautiful!  On top of the world to put the angel tree top on.  This was my tree top when I was a little girl passed down from my mom.  Super special!  Lots of the ornaments we  use are from my mom and my childhood.  There's also lots of ornaments that Ry and I have collected each year that we've been together since our dating years, which is at least 13 of them, plus one for Makayla now with her picture and now Mylee too.
