Holiday Party #1

Our annual Christmas party with all our friends has been really difficult to plan now that most of us have kids and every one's busy work schedules.   So this year we were just going to go out with the Chows and a few others but then we decided that it's just easier with all the kids to just have it our house so we made it super simple and ordered from Buca for the main courses.  Thanks to Som for taking care of all the appetizers and dealing with warming it all up in the oven.  If it were me in charge I think it all would've burnt since I had to take care of my girls too.  It was a little bummer that the Arnold's and Mel couldn't be here for this one but we tried.

Ethan giving Makayla her Christmas present.  She was so excited!  We let her open one present at the end of the night and she ended up picking the one the Chow Twin's gave her.  She must have remembered it was the first gift she received that night.

We were so glad to see Amber again.  Makayla and Amber became super buddies tonight.  They had so much fun playing with each other even though Amber is a bit older.  I think she's almost 6.  She is Jon's daughter one of our friends.

Bernie brought this awesome looking cake from some famous little French bakery.  Can't remember the name.  I think it was like Vanilla something.  For a little get together we ended up with so many desserts!  

This was the 1st time we've seen everyone in a long time and we even got all of Alan & Som's groomsmen together.  She's so funny, so got them to all pose to see their heights to match them up with the bridesmaids.  Too cute have everything for their wedding is just planned out to a "T"!  The party was so fun and it was really, really good to see most of the crew again!  Hopefully we can all get together again soon but I think that won't be until Alan & Som's wedding in April.
