Holiday Party #2

This was our 2nd Christmas party with the rest of our really close friends.  I call them the "shift" work crew so that's why this party is on a Tuesday.  Glad we were able to get together with everyone and made it happen!  It's so hard but it's wonderful to have all the kiddos together.  We are super, duper close to this crew and the little one's in this crew are really close too.  Stacy & Nate were so nice to host it that their house this year even after just flying home from a trip to Virginia the day before.  And to boot, Stace made an amazing home cooked Christmas dinner with Prime Rib, mash potatoes, sausage stuffing, asparagus etc. etc.!
The guys and their little one's.  Oh, Mylee are you surrounded by just boys?  I think so!  Run girl, run!  That's Aidan & Uncle Doug in the middle, and to the right is Logan and Uncle Mike.  Little Aidan, Doug & Bons made it all the way up her from San Diego, but it was time for them to go since it was a week day and Aidan's bedtime, so he missed the big surprise but I don't think he minds too much this year.
Surprise!  Santa and Mrs. Claus came to visit all our kids!  Good thing the girls had their bath right before they came and got into their cozy jammie's.  Santa & Mrs. Claus were sooo cute and did such a good job for us.  I found out about them through a flyer from Makayla's preschool.  They donate all their time from doing this to Breast Cancer for Angels so we arranged for this great surprise for our kids.  They were so nice as to fit us into their busy schedules.  Santa had his big red book and knew a little bit about each child which they were amazed with.  They were just perfect and made this Christmas extra special and so much fun for everyone!
Wow!  We even got an awesome family photo in!  Thanks to Patty and her professional photography skills lately!
Santa snuggles with my girls and is talking so sweet to them.  Mylee was getting tired so we had to make it quick before she got fussy.
Makayla just loved this Santa!  He was so sweet and she was just thrilled by Mrs. Claus's Christmas Story and especially Santa's Big Red Book so he knew what she even wanted from him for Christmas.  She's a believer for sure at not even 3-years old yet!  Amazing how these little traditions are going to absolutely be so memorable!
Santa & Mrs. Claus had to go now so it was time for dessert.  This cake was amazing!  Paul's wife Anne from my Vistage group made this for us tonight since I had a meeting this afternoon so it was perfect timing to have him bring to the meeting so I could take to our party.  It was so yummy!  Chocolate with Ganache and peppermint topping!

Makayla helping Mylee open some of her gifts.  I hope you're not getting tired of me saying how cute they are since it's not going to stop since they are irresistible and too darling!  Makayla continues to amaze me as to what a great big sis she is!
Thanks to our wonderful host and hostess, Nate & Stacy!  It was so much fun guys!  Thanks for having all of us over and Merry Christmas!
